Tailored training through live video conferencing, designed to suit your chemotherapy treatment

Participants: Maximum of 2 designated cappers (plus the patient)

During this training, you will learn the essentials of storing, handling, and changing the caps. You’ll be guided on achieving the closest possible fit to your scalp and cooling the caps to the optimal temperature for effective hair preservation. This session provides you with the perfect opportunity to ask any questions, ensuring you feel fully prepared and confident for your treatment day.

In person training

Personalized training with a professional Penguin cap technician in the comfort of your own home

Duration: 2 hours
Participants: Maximum of 2 designated cappers (plus the patient)

During this session, your technician will expertly demonstrate how to handle and change the caps. They will guide you on achieving a snug fit to your scalp and instruct you on proper storage and cooling to the ideal temperature. Your designated cappers will also have the opportunity to practice cap fitting under the expert’s guidance, so they feel confident to cap you effectively on your treatment day.

First treatment-day training

The complete support of a professional cold cap technician on your first day of treatment.

If you choose to book a professional Capper, you will receive 5-star treatment.

They will liaise directly with your clinic to ensure everything is prepared in advance. They will attend all of your chemo sessions and ensure that your schedule is followed to the letter. They will check the caps have reached temperature and fit them correctly to your head. And they will be a supportive and friendly face throughout the duration of your chemotherapy treatment.
